ZenBlock is designed with privacy as a core principle. The core functionality of blocking websites executes entirely locally on your device. We do not track your browsing history or sell your data to third parties.
2. Local Storage
For Free plan users, all blocklists, schedules, and settings are stored locally in your browser's storage. This data never leaves your device.
3. Cloud Sync (Pro)
If you subscribe to ZenBlock Pro and enable Cloud Sync, we store an encrypted copy of your settings (blocklists, schedules) on our secure servers to synchronize them across your devices. We cannot see which specific sites you block, only the rules you create.
4. Analytics
We may collect anonymous, aggregated usage statistics (e.g., number of active users, retention rates) to improve the product. This data is not linked to your personal identity or browsing habits.
